LAFAYETTE CLOUD JOCKEYS
FAA Registration • Small Unmanned Aircraft (UAS) flown outdoors must be registered with the FAA • Registration applies to any model airplane, quad, glider, helicopter, etc. that weighs more than 0.55 pounds and less than 55 pounds fueled and ready for flight • For UAS flown for recreation only, one registration covers all the UAS you fly • The registration fee is $5 • Registration must be renewed every three years • Your registration number must be displayed on or in all of your UAS REGISTER HERE Lafayette Cloud Jockeys Membership NEW or RENEW your LAFAYETTE CLOUD JOCKEYS membership at one of the following places: ANY REGULAR CLUB MEETING MAIL see club address under 'Contact' button. Enclose copy of your AMA card. NEW MEMBERS please fill out this form Dues Adult (19 years of age as of July 1) $50 Junior (under 19 years of age as of July 1) $ free, provided proposed member has parental consent and a valid AMA Youth Membership Family (member, spouse, and children under age 26 who are attending school or serving in the US Armed Forces). $60 New member $50 from 1/1 to 5/30 $30 from 6/1 to 9/30 $50 from 10/1 to 12/31 and also covers the following year
AMA Membership The Lafayette Cloud Jockeys club is affiliated with the AMA, our national organization for those interested in model airplanes. You must be a member of AMA to be a  member of this club. You will be required to show your AMA membership card when you join or renew membership in the Lafayette Cloud Jockeys.
